The current bid is $39,100...I'm sure he's got wood already. I think someone here set a very high max bid so now we can all bid this thing up big...I think $50k would get his attention.

This happened to my P-Car as well. I bought it off of Autotrader.com and a month later some Cat on EBay had my same photos and vin trying to re-sell it when it was in my garage. I notified EBay and it was down in a day or 2 later. I wonder how to notify the bidders? It says that scammer has been on EBay since 2008, Sketchy!

Nice, a thread about our car.

I bought this car from the OP as a project/DE car for my teen son and daughter. It runs great and we've put several hundred miles on it together. They wanted to do some mods; I agreed if the mods were reversible and they kept all the stock parts. They didn't realize that doing quasi Singer mods would actually increase the value to Singer proportions!

Completed:
Polished aluminum rear deck grill
Silver Hood Crest
Clear corner lenses
Polished chrome door handles
H4 headlights with chrome trim
Nardi wood/chrome steering wheel

In progress
Fuchs rim repaint ala Singer style
Replace rear bumper with a minimalist look one
Respray front bumper and side rockers
Basic engine/exhaust maintenance
Fog light housings in chrome
Interior rear view mirror in polished aluminum
Porsche decal in silver above rockers
Polished aluminum Porsche letters on rear deck lid

They really wanted to do the side view mirrors, but can't find suitable chrome or polished aluminum ones with the same footprint as the stock and we're not doing body work. If anyone has a solution please chime in!

We'll post pictures when we get the respray finished.

ebay will no longer allow me to bid on the car unless i call in a varify who i am due to high $$ amount..... yet they will not require the listing seller to call in and varify himself....

Hope it goes to $500k lol.

The scammer must not know what to think... great set up however..
