Default 78 SC ground strap?
Anyone know where to properly attach this ground strap back by the CDI unit? # 19 in the diagram.

there is one that attaches to the left hand hinge where it attaches to the deck lid.

By 'someone' did you mean someone like me and Scotitude?

When I said there might be a stud on the wall, did you actually have a look?

Mines a 76 and has the stud behind the mounting plate for the filter and accumulator.

Mine is sandwiched between the aluminium bracket (number 1 in diagram) and that cylindrical thing directly above it in the diagram. I think it's the tach generator.
But any good contact point on No.1 should do.
