Bought my first Porsche about 2 months ago. Nice '86 coupe with high miles but well taken care of and a recent engine rebuild. I've been enjoying this site and all of the info.

I like it Welcome to rennlist and congratulations on the purchase. How many miles are on the beast? Post a few more pictures when you get a chance.

It has 211k. I installed the Turbo Tie Rod Kit, ball joints and had it aligned. I also just put a wingless deck lid on.

The sport seats are great, very comfortable and no it doesn't have that shift light or if it does the previous owners burned it out.

Nice car! The '86 has a shift light, to be properly ignored.

Lovely looking car. Enjoy her :-)
My '88 has the shift light as well.
When it comes on, it just means I'm not pushing hard enough.

Nice car.

I believe all the 3.2 cars had the light.

Welcome to Rennlist! I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. This is probably one of the most informative forums around. Let me know if you have any questions about any Fabspeed products for your 86.

Thats a Wevo shifter, IMHO, the best aftermarket one for these cars.
