I'll put money down one of the stooges bid higher than a serious buyer and it will be back on EBay next week.

In the meantime, I've got the original seller's phone number and will try to get a hold of him this week.

+1 Exactly what I was going to say. The fix is in on this one.

If the ding rail is held on with double sided trim tape it could be removed easily with some dental floss followed by solvent to remove the residue. Couldn't read the entire listing. All caps, and wacky spacing made me feel ill trying to read it.

I would stay away from this type of short term Porsche owner. They likely have no idea about the car's history. All they care is how to make money from their inventory. They wish their buyer will send payment instantly with no question ask.

I bet the ownership doesn't have his name on it thoigh. He will try and pass it from old owner to new without him being in the mix so he doesn't pay any tax I bet.
Exactly the term here is floating the title

Well,it appears that as of today the car is for sale again ... it's currently at 18 K on Ebay ...
Somebody should report this ******* to the authorities or at the least get him banned from Ebay for being a fraudulent seller !

Cheers
Phil

a lot of people use ebay as cheap advertising for cars but never have any intention of selling through ebay . They always pull out as " no longer available" and do the deal outside of ebay

It did NOT sell for $29,000. It went back up for auction and then was taken down on Jan 5 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911-...-/261722620531
