Default Waxy brown factory undercoat ?

Hi Guys ,
I have 1 of the 5 Clubsports that came w/o undercoating and the factory did a thin patchy coat of a caramel colored wax which is heaviest in the wheel wells , and lightly applied over the suspension , floorpan , and gearbox . Does anyone know who makes this product and if it might be available in the States ?
Thanks,
Bryan

Yes,....its called Techtyl and made by Valvoline. You buy in in 5 gallon pails and spray it on.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the quick reply . Does this use a proprietary gun to apply it or it is something like the 3M Body Shutz , or Wurth Stoneguard guns ? With it being sold in 5 gallon pails it must something that is used almost exclusively on assembly lines ?
Regards,
Bryan

It looks close to cosomoline , but think it's a stiffer consistency .

You can use a standard spray gun with the appropriate nozzle. This stuff is used by OEM's, body shops and the military as needed for long-term corrosion protection.
