Exclamation 911SC Headlight Lens/Rim replacement

Hi guys,
If I want to replace the less attractive (IMO) headlight ring on an SC, do I simply change the lens and both inner and outer ring?
Outer Ring - 911-631-141-00
Lens - 911-631-111-00
Inner Ring - 911-631-133-01
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.

Example of current headlight:

Looks like you are going from a hella h4 headlight ( sugar scoop ) to the Bosch H-4 .

Im pretty sure mine only has the chrome ring holding it in but i could be wrong ( or missing bits ) .

I think thats a pretty pricey change if i remember correctly.

If it's only those three parts I need, I think I can put together a set for ~$400?
Do you have a photo of your setup?
Thanks!

The H4 lights seem to be getting harder and harder to find. The nice thing though is that they come complete. The fixture, glass, and trim ring are all there. All you have to buy are the bulbs...

Not sure if there is an adapter for the plugs, or if you have to splice them. There is now an adapter to go from H5 to H4 that wasn't around back when I converted mine.

Here is the thread I started when I did mine:

Couldn't bring myself to spending almost $2000 for a new pair of headlights, but I was able to find a complete used set.
Thanks

Awesome. Nothing you can't do to the used ones. If you want the rings to match your body color, there are paintable clip-on trim rings. The lenses are even easily replaceable. I was an idiot and disassembled the fixtures and painted the ring.
