How far into wrenching do you need to go? Changing the oil? Swapping out pistons? Installing the tires on the wheels? Forging the wheels? Mining the iron?

I noticed on his fbk page that ol Mag is pushing water cooled cars now with the tag line
"Variety is the spice of life" and other such PR bits. Working for AGPorsche must be big $!!!
But would be nice if he could keep it honest ya know? Not exactly outlaw-ish behavior.

I think the part that bugs some people is he makes it about himself as much as about his cars. We show off our cars here, but don't generally make a movie about ourselves.
Is it jealousy? Envy? Not sure. If you didn't catch on at the very beginning that he was a very good marketer you missed the boat.
I lost interest pretty quick.

I think Rob Zombie called and wanted his hair back. Seriously, who gives a crap. Isn't this forum about cars?

have to admit that I drove by his house today to check the area out. But instead of seeing a couple of 930s under the 6th Avenue bridge, could only take a picture of my cheap rental.

Stopped by later today at Singer Vehicle Design, man, that was impressive. Equally impressive is LA dismantlers, just around the corner from Singer.

...ditto Jack Olsen's comment on post #14...I sense a touch of jealousy by some posters. Magnus has found a way to make a bit of a living off doing what he is passionate about. I commend him highly for figuring out how to do that!

He has, frankly, outgrown the niche of technically-minded hobbyists. He has almost 100,000 subscribers on Instagram. He posts every day, and every pic gets thousands of likes. Some of it's meh, some of it's great. I don't see him coming back to answer a deluge of questions like "Where'd you get those louvres?" and "Why are you even a thing?"

He was posting from England today. Maybe he's headed back home to work out something with a foundry in his hometown. That's hands on.
