Last minute change of plan for the road trip; weather forecast was not looking good and the road out to the east cape lighthouse was awash. Lucky I left the Orange T at home or it might still be stuck there. The SC did well but needs a good clean.
There was no one else out there so for a short moment in time we might have been the most easterly people on the planet.

Great stuff Dave. That was actually one of the first places I took my car when I got it. I had the opposite problem to you -- it was so dry the dust on that long gravel road was shocking. Some of that dust will be in my car for ever more!

Same spot.
Pretty happy I didn't take the T.
The SC suffered two busted fog light lenses, an indicator lense, bullseye windscreen crack and a massive rock dent in the frunk.
We didn't really plan on 60kms of gravel roads but we found them!

Ouch. That's a lot of punishment. What are you going to do about the rock dent?

I'll just leave it until the frunk lid needs a repaint. Have to get the rear lid sorted as well at some point so do it all together.

Track day, Bruce McLaren Motorsports park, Taupo. Wet forecast so everyone had a mix of tyres. Unable to definitively slay the 964 flyboys.

First time I've seen those wheels on the car, Maxem. Track wheels/tires?

Yeah, the C4 on 221's seemed to be the answer. It's a shame that it came in early, and that Doug's car was out of action. Need a perfect day at HD to finally see how the two 964's go on 221's and the T and Pel's SC on the 888's.

Hi, yes, Dunlop Direzza z2's. I also got a set of Toyo R888's which I haven't been able to try yet. Had a lot of road driving over the wet weekend so opted to leave the 888's at home.

Came across this great shot the other day from a pro photographer. Snapped at turn three, Hampton Downs MotorSport park.
