Default 1970 911 E suspension

This question is two fold
I have this car and it has Macpherson struts on the front w/alloy calipers. I know replace with Konis and move on but i am a little true to the original. If need be can these be rebuilt with seals etc. by someone you know?
Rear suspension on a 1971 T does anyone know what the angle should be on the spring plate when it is hanging free on the torsion bar to get the correct ride height in the rear?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Are the struts Red(Koni"s), Black (Boge) or Green (Bilstein's)? Depends on what you want. Many like the Bilsteins since they can be re-valved. You can also find Bilstein and Koni inserts for the Boge struts.

The angle depends on where you want the ride height.

First, I would suggest removing the front Hydropneumatic struts and putting regular struts on it. What do you mean starting point for the rears?

Make sure you keep the stock parts when you convert to regular struts.

Default Rear supension

When the spring plate is hanging free on the torsion bar I am told it needs to be hanging at a certain angle what is that starting point, 25, 37 degrees at what angle?

One last try
Anyone know what the angle should be on the spring plate when it is hanging free on the torsion bar before you hook up trailing arms, shock etc.
