Default Insurance for daily driver

What insurance company are you guys using for your daily driver 911s?

I currently use Haggerty for my 1966 Mustang, but it is classic car insurance. Rate is only about $30/mo for agreed value.

I am about to buy a 1987 Targa and want to get insurance in order. I may put it on a classic policy and start driving the mustang daily.

Thanks for the help!

Based on values of these cars, I'd not put it on a standard policy-stick with a specialty company and agreed value. I've found that Hagerty is getting a bit too full of themselves, based on their pricing I got recently when I was shopping for my 993.

The caveat is most wont insure for agreed value if used as a daily driver. Then, if you stick with your standard policy, and do get into trouble, good luck trying to get it covered for its value.

Then, you have to ask yourself, do you really want to drive this car every day. I wouldn't.

I'm an agent in NC, so you may have a different experience. Hagerty will not insure a daily driver. Go with a good independent company (Erie, Auto-owners, etc) they will treat you better in the event of a claim. State Farm and others go directly with NADA which screws you in the event of a total.

Just a quick follow up...

I put the 911 and my 66 Mustang on Grundy agreed value insurance. Once my Boxster sells, I'll probably use the 66 as my daily and save Porsche for weekends.
