Default Backdated Gauge Look

I saw these gauges on a Carrera Targa at a car show today (car was exceptional for 100K miles). Before seeing this I thought I might want to to this with my SC; not I'm not so sure.

The speedometer redline at 70mph is amusing. Never saw that before.

The terms "speedometer" and "redline" do not go together.

The "red zone" on the speedo looks like it starts at 100 mph. If you like the retro gauges, I'm sure Palo Alto Speedometer or North Hollywood Speedometer can do the gauge faces for you.

Oops, you are correct about that speedo redline number. Don't know how I misread that. Oh we'll . . .

They look kinda neat.

I remember reading an Excellence article with how/to about such a project, hell - must have been about 15 years ago.

It was in fact done by either NH or PA speedo. Article included the hand drawn designs and inspiration.

Wonder if it could be the same car?

Cheers

very cool look, really puts together the body and interior with the retro look.

The more I look at these, the more I am sure this is from the car in that early excellence article. Anyone else remember?

Cheers

I like them, I guess it depends on your style and if they suit your car.
