Default time for someone else to enjoy

will be listing my 85 911 Targa in the for sale section, but wanted to float past the forum.

have not been active on this forum for a while. after doing a lot of rebuild / upgrades, had been running it at DEs and for top off fun drives. decided to retire from DE a that a couple years ago, and just finished an 86 944 turbo to be my new DE/street car.

I have returned the car to stock appearance, but left all the mechanical goodies in place.

in brief:

will consider offers over $20k, struggling with a buy it now price.

looks and runs GREAT. original paint in great shape over all, and the original full leather interior also in great shape. and has the great 'old 911 leather interior' smell.

approx 130k mi.

at around 85k miles, top end rebuilt, valves, springs, guides. tranny rebuilt, new clutch.

then more recently.

koni adjustable shocks, 22/29 mm torsion bars, new wheel bearings all around. CAT bypass and free flow muffler.

rebuilt brakes, new MC, rebuilt all calipers, Boxster front Calipers, front brake cooling ducts to fog light openings.

now has original 16" fuchs with newer tires.

probably a lot more stuff I need to remember/list.

AC deleted, and have ALL the original parts, plus some extra stuff. exhaust, AC system, shocks, etc. etc.

I will miss this one, as it was my first Porsche I obtained in 1989 with 30k miles. but now have 5 old porsches, with 4 running. with the 944 turbo running, want to focus more time of the resurrections / refresh of the 78 930 clone.

PS, my 84 928S and 83 Honda CB1100F are also for sale.

PPS. need to take some new pics. all the stickers removed, and wheels now 16" fuchs. those wheels are now on the 951.
