I have a 930 tach that is said to have come out of a 79 930. The boost dial reads from 0.0 to 1.0. I have seen some later versions 85 and 86 fitted with the same dial and earlier versions fitted with a dial that reads 0.0 to 1.5 bar. Are the separate dials year specific or market specific or what? any way to tell what year min came from for sure? Thanks for the help guys.

The 1.5 bar tachs are from a 3.0 turbo. There should be a date stamp on the back of the tach.
