Ah ok. The only reason I bring it up is I recently bought some 8" et11 rears that I'm having trouble fitting. My car is a narrow body though and doesn't have SC flairs.

Sounds like a plan.

At the moment I have 7.5x17 and 9x17 cups on mine but I would rather the Fuchs in 17.

I'm doing this now, cutting up 16x6 originals but using the 34 hole BBS inners and outers instead of 20 hole.
They will be a super strong wheel and every bit as good as a BBS RS or similar.
Only have rears sorted so far but those are a 7" inner with a 3" outer and allowing 1/2" for the center it makes a 10.5" wheel filling the fender completely with no spacer.
