Default New guy introduction

Hello and thanks for having a look at my first post. My name is Mark and I have been involved in the service, repair and restoration of Porsche cars since 1999 and have been a huge fan of these cars since my first Porsche 911 matchbox car at 6 years old!
I have been lucky enough to work on and drive a ton of beautiful cars, from early 911's and 356's to 959's, Carrera GT's and a couple of GT3RS4.0's among others. My passion runs deep but my pockets do not, so I have yet to own a Porsche (I'm working on getting a 914 at the moment) but I hope I can be a helpful and productive member of this forum.
Thanks again and I hope to meet as many Rennlist folks as I can! Cheers, Mark.

Welcom Mark

Where are you located ? This is an international forum with Folks from all around the world and im sure you will fit right in.
This being the aircooled forum we tend to talk more technical issues when we are not trashing each other
The 914 is an awesome car if you can score one with a body in good shape. Watching a friend restore one and he is putting in a 2.2 6 in it .

Default Welcome

Hi, I am a new member too, I remember the first time I saw a porsche, I was 12 years old and I was walking next to the Magazine aisle and saw the front cover in a Popular Mechanics Magazine it was the year '95 or '96 if I am remembering correctly. I fell in love with such a beautiful car it was a 1997 CarreraTurbo S and I said, someday I will purchase my own. Well, Thanks to God, that day has come, it is not a turbo, or brand new, is a used but still nice condition, low miles '06 911 Carrera.
So, here I am trying to get myself used to this forums and understand how it works so that I can get good advice from many members
.
Welcom Mark, whish you the best in your quest for your porsche!
