84 Carrera Speedometer Questions
The PO was anything but an electrical wizard.
I have a number of speedo questions that I've been searching this forum for days to no avail.
1. All my gauges work except when car turned on, speedo jumps to the max a number of times and then settles at 40 mph. Thereafter, speedo, while it does light up, it does not work nor does odometer.
2. Is speedo directly wired (red/black) to the fuse box?
3. Anyone who has a picture of the back of an 84 speedo with cruise contol, I thank in advance. Specifically, need to know not just connections, but where those connections go.
