Effects of ethanol on 3.2 911s

I travel with my 85 3.2 (Euro) frequently in the PNW. In BC we have 94 Chevron (non ethanol) available and when at home, use only that. I notice a difference when I fuel up with premium (91 or 92) in Wa. or Ore. with ethanol. Stalling seems to happen more frequently and as was said by earlier posts, the pull from 4k is noticeably muted. The fuel economy is also muted...LOL. I'm not sure if in most markets the economics work out (ethanol vs non ethanol) but my car at least, feels as though it enjoys "the real thing" even aside from the corrosive and hygroscopic aspects of ethanol. Cheers
