Sunny, hot, humid. They said it rained for three hours here this morning. We are going to wait until tomorrow to go sailing. My kid was asked repeatedly if all the water was turned off before I did the hook ups and the slide outs.... Needless to say, Inow have 10 washing machines going at the laundrymat because everything that was piled in the shower got flooded out. Just another day.

The once A/C blower controls have been relocated to where the fresh air controls used to be. That required the addition of about 18" of wire that I sourced from a donor car.
The plate was cut from the same aluminum sheeting I've used to block all the now unused holes in the frunk. (Yes, I cut it by hand with sheers I purchased at a pawn shop for $4.00) The plate now has 3 coats of black paint. Thinking final finish will be matte.
EDIT: Almost forget to show my passenger heat solution. I used leftover CAT tubing and a big zip tie to create a 180* bend to dump the heat directly on the footwell. I'll trim the carpet a bit and leave off the blower cover. Brilliant solution, no? Car looks more raw everyday.

the sound playback on a cheap cellphone at the Rancho Guacamole Cantina is horrid - but for the moment, it'll have to do.

the op of this thread saved my $90k++ car project....
if that's over-stating. then he certainly solved a host of problems with my LS7 powered 968.
it pleases me immensely to put in a good word in for Doug.
and after doing so, let you all return to your lives in relative peace....
here's a few pics from last month....
https://rennlist.com/forums/968-foru...-968-a-27.html
tonight we sorted a 55w/8000k upgrade for the 993 lamps.
overall, thanks to Eric Hill's (mostly) fine work with the swap, then Doug's finish work,
it's finally reaching the stage of a very well-sorted V8 powered 968.
if things continue to proceed the right way,
it'll be nice to finally cruise Sunset Strip, Mulholland Drive, Malibu, Pacific Coast Highway, ect.
and at some point, Lart's prolly even gonna drive her....
