Those crafty buggers.... maybe its a drag car?

Seriously, the body looks pretty straight.... mirror and glass trim look period...check for opening rear quarter windows... might be worth a fishing expedition?

Motor is in! I looked under and it honestly looked pretty clean. I could also see the carb filters through the grill.

I am curious to know what the owner would want for it. Unless he has plans to keep it.

For some reason this car has been on my mind a lot lately. I love this body style.

Are opening rear windows sought after? Almost looks like there is a latch after looking at the pictures again.

What year would you guess it is?

Doesn't cost anything to ask. Prices on these cars are going crazy right now, but if you want one, and it checks out, this may be an opportunity.

A really clean, documented, no excuse small bumper T is probably a $50K+ car these days, so if it runs and is not a rust-bucket, there is some potential headroom... but restoration costs on these cars can spiral up fast, so be prepared to spend some serious money.

I know someone who just bought a complete and decent long hood-same story, but the mother wanted it gone-for about $8K.

'73 and earlier cars had opening rear quarters, just a quick check.

If the owner is interested in selling, get a specialist to do a full PPI on the car and check all the numbers. A lot of these cars were patched together from bits and pieces, so that is the only way to know what you have.

Good luck.

As good as the 356 he bought a couple of years ago- running and drivable with a huge dent in rear bumper....for $5k. Not pristine, but-Sold that to someone for enough to buy a 964. He keeps his eyes open during his travels.

After spending winters laying in snow, the entire bottom is rusted out, so it's a lot lighter. Hence the height.

Definitely a flat 6 in there.

Not sure on the ride height. Possibly modified suspension?
