Welcome the white/blue club! Great looking car!
Guess in 89 the 3rd brake light went body color.

What a beauty!! Looks brand spanking new! Did you buy it through a Porsche dealer?
If my memory serves me right you are in the Bay Area too right? If so, we need to get together for a new 911 owner celebration drive & coffee.

Congrats. Very nice looking car in/out. You can tell the PO took really good care of it.
Great Holiday present. My was 2 years ago this week.
If you took a little height out of the suspension, it would look fast while in the garage. Slightly lowered P Cars in White know how to show their hips.
You will also want to keep some micro fiber towels handy for those Fuchs.

First of all, the car looks magnificent. It's amazing how well it was cared for. Absolutely beautiful car.
Questions for you.
How did you know how good this car was when it was in New Jersey and apparently you live in Oakland, CA ? I'm curious because I'm looking to get another car but am leary of not seeing, not touching, not driving the car. How did you handle this.....prior knowledge or hired an inspection service ?
If you get a chance, it would be nice to get some details on this car........mileage, origin, etc. I'm learning about Porsches so I'm anxious to get the benefit of your experience and knowledge. And finally, congratulations on a beautiful acquisition. I really like the matching wheel color, goes great. very classy.

Thx again guys. I'm really enjoying it. My dad had a 67 911s when I was in high school and he gave it to me for my first car. I bitched cause I really wanted a late model cab but it just wasn't in the cards (I settled for a Jeep Wrangler).
Fast forward to about a year or so ago I set out to buy another toy. I found this on Powertech's site as a consignment. I heard lots of good things about them so I gave them a call. The car is bone stock with the exception of a newer head unit. No accidents and all original paint so no skeletons in the closet.
They did the PPI and it checked out with flying colors. I sent them a check arranged transport and 5 days later it was sitting in my garage (as you see it here).
It's got limited slip diff, short shifter, sport suspension, 8 way power and heated seats, hifi stereo, painted fuchs, cruise control, power top and a few other bells and whistles, all from the factory. Best of all it only has 46k miles!
I also bought a Land Rover sight unseen and I guess you just have to find the right person with the right car. In this case I found both and a reputable dealer to facilitate the sale.
I'm planning on keeping this all original and doing what my dad did with his 911S. One day my daughter (she's actually the little girl on the far right in the Carter's ad) will have this car. She's only 3 so I'll be happy to enjoy it until she can drive
