A rare snow event on the west coast.

Well, having grown up on the west coast, snow was not a rare event. Mind you, it likely was a bit more northerly that you, I presume...

Mine might see some snow this year. Gotta get some proper skins for my "winter wheels", though.

I'm sorry, I can't even grasp the concept behind this thread.

Really Ed?

there is something special about driving a Porsche in the snow, its a really amazing feeling of control in an otherwise hostile enviornment. I drove my 996 every snow day and when the snow falls here this year I will drive the 911 FOR SURE

and you wont find a better way to learn throttle steering

Ummm, it was a joke? We're typically a little short on snow in San Diego.

A few years ago took the '92 C4 to Utah for skiing. No snow in this pic, but we ran into plenty, to the point I-80 was almost impassable, coming home. (Yeah, not a torsion bar car, and really doubt I'd venture out in the snow in one.)

Nice Ken...what else is there? A C4 is a great snow machine.

This was in Victoria so yes, anywhere else in BC would be north of there.

More than you know...

Special built 914 engine with K-Jetronic was in it, probably replaced with turbo by now. Porsche wheels, Porsche suspension, stripped interior with Recaros and all kind of monitoring software, Boxster brakes...
