If it counts, I took Ruby for a quick spin just now. No top, no heat and I'm wearing shorts-It is maybe 50 here right now. She is on R's, as usual, that were very cold and have been sitting in the same spot for about 3 weeks. Felt like driving on bricks and I was able to exercise the lack of traction control-"sort of" like driving in snow-San Diego style.

Made the neighbor kids' day too, they love to hear her run.

sure Ed, that counts

Everyone meet Riley, (924 vid) he's a local and I have spent a good many days at the track with him in all kinds of weather....... great driver, great person, darn near built that car from the ground up and he's not even 1/2 my age!

and yes, my hair might be longer

Thanks! I'm a sucker for the styling of the 924 CGT.

Hijack: AutoArt makes a killer 1/18 scale diecast of the 924 Carrera GT now. Available in red, silver or black.

Two day trips Thu and Fri with the C4S, which is looking to be the ski car this season. 19s are off, 18s pressed into duty..........some cast off 17s with real winter tires to be bought and mounted soon!

Ed,

I'm glad you are using the 86 in spite of snowy weather. How are the Nokian tires holding up?

yes, very nicely... keep your eyes open for some good (aka inexpensive) summer tires for me! - these need to come off once the weather gets nice.

BTW - cool avatar! is that THE CAR?
