911 electric Antenna vs manual
I have replaced my electri antenna now a number fo times over the years and none has impressed me very much for lasting very long.
I would be glad to settle for a non-electrical mechanical one.... in fact that would be cheaper and last forever.
any suggestions on where to buy one? Price?

What Brand is It?
Here's a Vendor that sells both Manual and Electric Hirshmanns Black or Chrome.

Not saying you can't get them elsewhere, but I've bought both a manual (my first "quick replacement) and then later replaced that with an electric--both black and both from Woodys.
The electric is still plugging away just fine. I have total faith in it, so much that I sold the manual last summer.

Go to your local high end car audio shop and they should have or can order you a standard mast antenna that will fit perfect. It should cost between $20-30. I have guys who dont like power antenna come in my shop and I match up a standard mast antenna all the time.

You can repair your original power antenna. A friend brought over his Hirschmann power antenna off his SC.
Water had gotten into the unit so we disassembled the parts and cleaned them up. Works good as new
