Default For Sale: Rare Carrera RS Book

Hey guys,

We've listed our Carrera RS book for sale on Ebay.

Here's the link if anyone is interested or knows someone who would be interested in this book. It's a rare book and they don't come up for sale too often.

Thanks , Jo

Jo,

Very nice. Could you provide a photo of the fold out pamplet? I also have a NIB Carrera RS book but it does not have that document. Thanks much.

WOW! didnt realize these where worth so much. I have one but it doesnt have the extra pull out. Saw a couple of these a few years back for sale at Pamona for $100. They were not MINT but in very good condition. Should have bought them. O'well. Good luck in selling yours. Mine is not for sale.

Sorry Christian, We did not list a buy it now as we didn't know what it would go for. The book now is over our reserve already and with so many bids and so much interest it's a done deal now.

So Sorry Brian can't take a picture of the insert as the book is already packed away.

Wow... right now high bid is $1,075.00 WOW.......

We initially purchased three of these. We kept one and sold one to Jerry and One to Sam. Now I wish we had ALL THREE!!!

I guess it would be worth what someone with a 959 would want to pay for it...

Wonder what our 917 engine block would be worth? Not too many folks out there with 917's.

It's amazing................

Pete, you are not suposed to talk about the 917. You are suppose to walk right past it and not notice it sitting there. Well, you may be allowed...I was told to shut up and keep moving. Marc always did like you best.

Pete,
The 917 case ran in the L&M car driven by George Follmer. The case has a bullet size hole in it from hitting about a "million" RPM and ended up in Vasek's warehouse. There were two of them, ours and one that had NEVER been built.
So......yes it's for sale......Price.....??,???.00
J

PS We,ve been told magnesium can be repaired!?!

Jo: The guy that I'm thinking about, Carl Thompson, you probably already know. He ran Vasek's race parts dept for about a hundred years. Let me know if you got the case from Carl, or if it was included in another transaction...
