Just to prove a 911 can roast the tires, here is a pic from "H20911" from Pelican.

My Public Defender is a little asian girl that looks so sweet, but has the jaws of a pit bull. She read the letter I have from my expert witness and just chuckles at what I want to do to this poor cop. Tuesday is the big day.

Allen, one of these days, one of there days.

You have bumped this on my renewal day. I can't get back into the RLOT asylum until I fork over another wad of cash.

LoL... The day of the hearing my public defender didn't show and I entered a guilty plea. Then went down to her office and raised holy heck. Her boss went back to the court and pulled my plea and the judge sent me to an arbitration board where I crucified the PD and the state for even entertaining the charges. I agreed to plead guilty to "speaking loudly to a peace officer" and they threw out the reckless driving charges. It became really clear really fast to the arbitration folks that I was perfectly OK with destroying the poor young helpless female public defender for the no show and that I didn't have a 911 that was souped up enough to do burnouts in the middle of an intersection. It all boiled down to them not wanting this to go on the public defenders record. I was a complete *** in front of the board and the head of the board liked the girl. No points on my record. Of course on my way out I did a burnout.

That was awesome. I missed this when it first came by in 2009. Amber lamps, my respect for you grows every day.

On the "if the tires weren't lit, you must acquit" defense ... seriously, might it have been possible to immediately photograph the tires and submit them for expert testing (melted rubber, microscopic photos of the rubber structure, ...) to prove that the temperature did not rise to the point of burning?

Glad to hear you got it taken care of. And thanks for sharing the story.
