Do you mean besides the normal retail channels? there are many places, all about the same that sell them retail. Perfomance products etc etc etc. They all look about the same on their websites

Those are all fiberglass or Carbon fiber. I want the metal ones ie.. real original or at least as originally constructed.

All of these are steel. Everyone else has them as well. That's the first ones I went to. I'm sure you can find them cheaper. I bought these back in mid 90s sometime, and I assure you they aren't fiberglass. Even the bumper extensions are steel, if you want them. They have steel rockers, brake ducts.

from $199.95-$349.95
The 1976-89 Turbo look can be yours. Start with these precision-stamped steel flares, and wheels to fill them out; then add bumper ends to match, and a spoiler. Or update to the 1984-89 911 Carrera look.

What you are talking about are SC/Carrera/930 flares, NOT RSR or ST flares. Anybody else?

You might want to keep smshirk's list handy. If you can't find NOS or accurate reproduction RSR/ST steel fender flares (which could get pretty pricey), a good metal man could "message" the 930 flares into what you’re looking for...

Accuracy and correctness have their price...

I have found real ones here or there but never a complete set and always very expensive. I am looking for a body man used to metal working to see if he is up to the task of modifying the 930 units to ST/RSR.

You're trying to save money. I get it. The problem is that never works out.

Having a good fabricator modify a flare will probably end up costing more than if you had purchased the correct product in the first place. Fabricators don't work cheap and they don't work fast.

Check Restoration Design, I believe they supply steel ST flares. Not sure about RSR profiles.

True - but maybe he is close to Mexico, Brazil, China or anohter very low cost labor market (Rumania?). Then the problem would be how to find quality work and experience

Contact TRE Motorsports in North Hollywood Ca ask for Dave Bezaglio , he has had a
fabricator knocking these off for the last few years..
Should his quay have quit he should have a few other options.
Also check on Early S Registry for leads there's a guy named Marek in Hungary making
a lot of early Porsche body and racing components ...Bert
