That would be great. I found a scanned copy of the 1978 owners manual online. I will send that on to you.

I am a new owner of a 1979 and according to what I have read there were no changes between the 1978 and 1979 model years but I assume Porsche produced a manual for 1979 year model cars.

Default Thank You all!

Only in posession of a French manual I decided to buy a German version last weekend on a big Porsche meeting in Germany.
I can't read French but German is better for me to understand.
English even better and therefor I want to thank you all for posting links to downloadable manuals.
Now I discovered I have start assist connection points under the hood. I presume I can put on a tickle loader there to keep my battery in condition.

Thanks.

Yes Paul you can - its where I connect a battery charger when I'm parking the cars for a while.

Thanks Andrew!

I saw a comment by Roger at some point recently that Jim Morehouse had asked that he and other vendors put the CD's up on their websites.. might be worth dropping him a PM about it?

I know he was going to do that. My version of the CDs is a bit old, so I don't know it it's on them now or not. The problem in the past was paying to host them. Google gives each user 1GB. More than enough for the key docs.
