I got a 04 Cayenne S!

Has anyone put 295-45-20 tires on the rear and 275-45-20's in the front????

I'm looking in to a sport techno wheels set up with those tires.

Any pics would help!

Are you using the turboS techno wheel that is slightly wider in the rear or the same size the whole way around the truck?

On my Turbo S im running 275-45-20(lil more ground clearance ) the whole way around ....standard size for them is 275-40-20<-- Im sure thats what it says on my truck.

I have 20-10 in the rear and 20-9 in the front. Do you have any pics of Cayenne ???

Staggered wheel setup on a Cayenne? For some reason that just doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Don't know why, hopefully someone more knowledgeable can shed light on whether it's acceptable or not. AWD issues?

The CTTS comes from the factory with staggered Sport Techno wheels, but the same size tires all around (275-40-20). I have not heard of anyone running wider tires in the back. The Carrera 4s have staggered wheels and wider tires in the back with AWD, so there is at least a precedent there. Another option I have seen on the Cayenne is to put wider spacers in the back and push the wheel/tires out a little farther in the rear for more of a wide-body stance.

Another precedent is in the 996C4 with 285 and 225.

I knew very well about the C4's and even the Turbos being both AWD and having staggered setup however the AWD system on those vehicles is completely different than the AWD of the Cayenne. Just like Jeep has a couple different options of 4WD on their vehicles, all AWD's are not created equal.

I'm NOT saying the staggered won't work, I don't know. I am suggesting anyone investigate it a little bit before deciding to do it themselves.

Could I go with 275's all around if my back wheels are 20x10 and fronts are 20x9??

What about thicker tires like 45's instead of 40's? Trying to get some pics from someone . All I have seen is the 40's.

Sorry cayenne 81 I have been busy down in the shop the past few days. I will run out and take a picture in the morning and have it up by lunch time hopefully. I think the 45 series look better then the 40 "more meat" to me still sporty tho. The same tire in a different series(bigger hight size) is slightly wider also from a 40 to a 45 I forgot how the calculation goes.What brand have you been looking into also I have a few suggestion if you haven't already got a mindset.

Iv been looking into Kumho or Nexan and also Good Year. Iv heard good things from all three but I think im going to go with the better value as things are a little tight these days.

What do you thing about those three brands?

Here is the very late pic but finally of the 275-45-20 on my CTTS. If I was to suggest a brand it would be Falken for the cayenne im at 28000miles on them and counting !!!!!

Looks good. Yeah the 45's look a lot better than the 40's. I think Ill go with the 45's! Have you ever heard of anyone running 50 series?

I suppose it's all just a matter of preference. I actually prefer the look of the 40s.
