Default Cosmo short shifter

Has anybody used the Cosmo short shifter for the 996? I've used some of their other products and I was fairly happy. Hoping somebody had some first hand experience.

from a material stand point, it looks cheap and poorly made / finished

No idea how it works / feels or holds up......
Having just put a 997 shifter in, I would check to see if there is an option for one of those in a shorter version (heard there was)

I have a B&M short shift kit in my 996 and love it. It seems to be the most popular and well built. I believe they actually make the short shifter for porsche (or have in the past).

Kunkstyle,

I have never heard of the Cosmo shifter before you posted the link. Schnell, B&M and OEM shifters is what most have gone with with the B&M being the most popular on this forum. As X51 stated above B&M made the Porsche shirt (sport) shifter for the 996.

I went with the B&M and loved it. Eric at BumperPlugs.com sells the B&M shifter for $199, plus he is a Rennlist site sponsor.
