Default 997 RSR BodyKit

Hi
Does anyone know of any company that are doing or going to do a 997 RSR bodykit? i.e fenders, bumpers etc.

A few companies do the 996 RSR kit...

I have not seen any kits for the RSR. You might have to get the parts directly through Porsche motorsports or from a race team that has access.

As much as I like the RSR, I'd be hestitant to do that to an RS as it would obviously require some cutting of the body components. You may consider the Cup S instead. The Cup S components requiring the front fascia and fenders would be easily reversible as they are bolt on replacement pieces.

I don't wanna give you any ideas but the RSR of the Tafel Racing Team that run the LeMans Series is for sale for 250K great price compared to the red Cargraphic RSR that still is for sale for 405k.

damn you zico. that's gorgeous! now @250k...we talking euros or american toilet paper?

either way I'm following my plan to take the RS all the way to the limit of speed and consistency- then spend this offseason doing a rally school, ice driving school, and maybe open wheel school too.

hopefully I'll be good enough by this time next year to purchase a real track car (full cage, hans, etc)

it's a good thing I don't have 250k laying around though- I'd love a 997 RSR

I just noticed this thread.

The manufacturer of the RSR bodywork for Porsche Motorsport is Carbo Tech Composites.

Here is their web site.

http://www.carbon.at/en/index.html

Hope this helps with your quest.
