Default How to get horn pad off

How to I remove the horn pad? I would like to try covering it in leather and putting a Porsche mini crest on there.(http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/..._pg1.htm#item2)
I think that look better than just the Porsche lettering.

Whenever I look inside a modern Porsche and see that crest on the steering wheel it gives me the jiblies.

If your talking about the four spoke wheel, then you just firmly grab both sides and give it a tug. Once it pops off make sure you unplug the wire that is connected to the back.

Oh really? I tried that and I thought I was gonna break something. I'll try again. Thanks!

Yeah, it can be pretty snug on there and is a little scary the first time you do it because you think your going to break something. This is for the 4-spoke non-airbag steering wheel.
