Default T5 B Sound deadening kits?

Finally today I parked a 356 on my driveway.
It's a "outlaw" style restored car and has no interior, only 2 seats.

Stoddard sell sound deadening kits for front trunk, interior and engine bay.
Now the car is very noisy inside and I wonder if someone has installed these
and are they good?

On top of this sound deadening will I install complete carpeting in German Squareweave.

What they're selling is tar paper mats similar to original. If its an outlaw anyway why not invest in modern technology like dynamat? If you're carpeting you won't see it

Yes, you are right. The "original" stuff is probably more for concours restoration, my plan is to use the car.
I was today looking for similar stuff as Dynamat, will go this route.

Really happy about this car, this was the third time I was looking at it and thinking to buy it, but now I bought it.
Visitied the owner asking if he would repair my 911 roof liner. Said that we have met before when I was looking
at his 356, and he replied, yes, I remember. Adding that the car is now for sale.

It look very good, at least to me, the purist might think different. It is a little lowered and has a good stance that
is complemented by the nice color.

Nice car!

I'm no expert but I do remember there have been discussions on the 356 Registry forum about various sound deadening options. I do some searches there and you should get some good info.

First I have to correct a mistake, the car is a B T6, not a T5.

I plan to use STP Black Gold insulation material under the carpets.
Anybody done such that could send me some hints?

The ear plugs is not an option, I plan to travel with this car and my wife.

About interior, as I'm in Europe, not much sense to buy this from the US.
Any experience there with these, or could you recommend some?
