356C project. ground zero.
Starting going through the 356 I bought earlier this year via PCA classifieds.
Very complete car and also very rusty.
Been parked since 1977.

Cool project that you have gotten yourself.
Are you doing any work on it yourself or is it left to be done by a shop?
Is it going to be renovated back to former Glory look of 1965 or a more modern racer style?
Love to see more of your transformation of the 356 :-)
There are some nice treads and info on the abcgt forum if you havent been in there yet.
Good luck

3 staff. Paint, metal and mechanical.
Going to keep it simple and original.
However Emory has me thinking otherwise

Awesome project. I have rescued several old Mopars from the grave, and even some air cooled VWs ( until I realized the labor is exactly the same regardless of the cars ultimate value) but never a Pcar.
Looking at this is giving me the itch to do it again. Too bad my eyes are not as sharp as they once were. It really makes detail a bit harder.
Good luck with your very worthwhile project and have fun!!!

Looks sort of like mine when I bought it. More holes and less bondo though. I found part of a N.C. license plate pop riveted and bonded over in my right wheel well.

Build yourself a rotisserie for your project
I undertook a similar looking project on a59 coupe and luckily found a great web page on building your own rotisserie and it was a life saver. Good luck and enjoy the journey.
