Just like the title ask how much was such a car going for Back in Dec 2006.
http://www.hagerty.com/valuationtool...ort?vc=1300865
The Hagerty pricing tool says $54K for the 48 Gmund, which is difficult for me to believe. By the way we're talking #1 condition cars here.
Now the car is valued at $1.3MM today. That would put the increase in value at around 2307%. Which is about as good as an investment can come over 6 years.

That is the "AVERAGE" valuation after you add all the the number 1 through number (Condition) 4 cars up then divide by four.
I could see a concourse #1 model 48 hitting $1.3MM.
To me I just can't get my brain to click $54k for such a rare example six years back. Maybe a few hundred grand but just $54K just doesn't sound right.
