What's the best electronic ignition for a 65 356SC?

Go to 356registry, join and ask that question. I can tell you that the general consensus over there is the stock system.

I got an electronic ignition and my wrench, one of the best around, told me no, don't! They can fail suddenly and no quick fix. He said stick to stock and I do.

I have an MSD ignition in my '60 Roadster (which is converted to 12v). Could not be happier (points last forever, plugs run clean) Check them out: https://www.msdignition.com/info.aspx?taxid=4&taxid2=94
