Becker Europa TG-M-U in 356C
The original invoice for my '64 356C says it was delivered with a Becker Europa TG-M-U radio. Unfortunately, at some point it was replaced with an Alpine radio, and the original one was discarded.
Now I am looking to restore the original type of radio, but looking at photos of this radio online (mostly out of Mercedes), i don't see how it could fit, since the front cover plate is a single rectangular piece that extends the full width of the radio, including the tuning dial and both *****.
Does anyone have a photo of a 356 with a Becker radio in it so I can see how it is mounted and what kind of front plate is used?
Also, if anyone has one of these radios to sell, please let me know!
Thanks!
Phil

You probably want Der White's 356 literature pages

But specifically about radios -

I've got the radio from my dad's '63 that was totaled in '65, plan on gutting it and putting in a Raspberry Pi computer to play MP3s when I get my '65 C coupe restored (dad bought it to replace the totaled '63)
