Question Tie Downs

I just purchased a 65 356 C, and I am going to trailer it home on my open trailer.
I do not have the wheel over straps, I do have plenty of normal ratchet straps.
Any advice on how to tie down the vehicle?

Thanks,
--Joe

I tried to search on 356 Registry and see you already posted your question there. Do a search over there and you will likely find some advice.

Congratulations on your acquisition!

Hope your new residence in Leavenworth is civilian!

I did search the 356 registry, but didn't find much information other than the over wheel style tie downs.

While we are military, our place in Leavenworth is civilian. We will be on the school house side of that post.

I have used the peg just in front of the rear wheels and crossed the straps for the back and the axles in the front. I did not use chains on either end. Worked very well.
