electronic ignition for 6V 356
Has anyone out there upgraded their 6V coil & points ignition system to an electronic + pointless system??
I have seen the components for sale, but do not know how well they work...

I have not heard of such an upgrade but you might contact the person who takes care of my 1963 356B and who is quite knowledgable about these cars. He is Tony Dutton at Northumberland Engineering in Southampton, N.Y. His phone (from memory so call information if I've got it wrong) is (631) 287-2213.

Thanks Speed. I have seen such components for sale in the Tweeks or Automotion catalog. IMHO, electronic ignition is the best thing since sliced bread! If I dont hear anything on this board, I will give him a call. Regards, BB
