Six-Figure PorscheĀ Is Joined By Koenigsegg Agera RS, One of Only 25 in Existence

If you’re a Porsche owner and you happen to live in the northern part of the U.S., you probably also own a winter beater. Tucking away your precious Porsche for the winter makes a lot of sense. You don’t want road salt or an icy overpass to ruin your most prized possession. But that doesn’t mean that driving a pricey sports car like this Singer 911 in winter conditions is by any means impossible.

Most saneĀ folks would never dream of even driving a six-figure jewel like a Singer 911 on anything but dry pavement. After all, a ton of man hours go into making them true rolling works of art. But, this purple all-wheel-drive Singer handles the snowy Swiss Alps with ease. And the car wasn’t even the most expensive one on the road that day.

Our intrepid Singer drive is joined by aĀ Koenigsegg Agera RS, one of only 25 in existence. With a multi-million dollar price tag and 1,341 horsepower, it’s safe to say that its driverĀ has a little more to lose in these conditions. At least it’s equipped with a set of Pirelli Sottozero winter performance tires. But hey, if you can afford one of these cars, you can always afford another one, right?

The trip definitely isn’t without a little peril, of course. The Singer gets cut off by a jerk in an Audi at one point. And the tight mountain passes aren’t exactly made for buses and super-wide hyper cars to coexist. But both cars make it through unscathed, which is further proof that if you have a lot of cash, any car can be a winter beater.
