New York Jets Porsche 911 GT3 Symbolizes Mean Green Partnership

I understand there’s a lot of Jets fans out there, but I’m pretty sure that none of them ever expect to win anything. So if you’re Porsche, a company built on winning, why team up with such lovable losers for your first official NFL partnership? Were the Broncos busy?

Although if you are going to partner with the historically inept NFL franchise, you may as well get a couple of the team’s best representatives to do your repping for you. And that’s certainly the case with perennial Pro-Bowler Darrelle Revis and retired running back Curtis Martin, who appear with the sweet white and green Porsche 911 GT3 in the gallery below.

Of course, the Jets don’t actually have to always win on the field to win at the bank, thanks in no small part to being a pro sports team in the New York City area. And The City’s allure probably played a big part in Porsche partnering with the Jets. According to the New York Jets website:

“As the official sports car and luxury vehicle of the Jets, Porsche will be the presenting partner of the Jets Green Room – the Jets all-inclusive hospitality lounge and ultra-exclusive club inside MetLife Stadium.  The premium indoor space, with a large outdoor patio and private seating, has a high-energy bar atmosphere where former Jets players, celebrities, and corporate partners mingle, network and cheer on the Jets.”

So yeah, you can see why the partnership will be beneficial to both sides. Porsche gets prime time, glitzy exposure, and the Jets get to see what a winner looks like.
