GT Stands for “Goodbye Tires” on This Porsche 997 GT3 RS Drifter

It all looks so simple. Find some empty roads, grab a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and skate across a beautiful landscape. The driver of the Porsche and maker of the video below, D. Rawberts, even throws a pretty little dance move into the drive with his cross-legged shifting — and that looks easy too.

The GT3 RS is usually used for a much different type of driving: track driving, specifically. It’s the lightest, fastest, most aero-rific, most powerful, and hardcore version of the 911. And it’s designed to stick to the ground and beat everything in its path, at all costs. That’s why watching it do something like drifting is so cool, because it rarely ever happens. Watch, enjoy, and don’t try it at home.
