Cars and Women Really Do Go Together!
From the very beginning of automotive times, women have made a perfect companion to sleek and seductive cars. Or perhaps it’s the other way around; perhaps sexy sports cars have always made perfect companions to stunning women.
That said, meet Ruby Davis. Not only is she what most people would call “attractive,” but she’s also a bright entrepreneur and the founder of the ChickDriven.com website. Ruby believes buying power is shifting more and more toward women, and the today’s car-shopping experience needs to reflect such fluctuations in the market.
While I can’t deny some of those claims are true, I’m more interested in the gorgeous 1994 Porsche 964 Turbo S Package Car in this gallery. It’s one of only 17 ever made by Porsche, and it’s a real show-stopper.
Regarded as the “Holy Grail” of Porsches, this particular model differs from the majority of 964 Turbo S Package Cars, which were built as flatnose models. Upgraded cylinder heads, camshafts, and a bigger K27 turbocharger were fitted, which pumped up the horsepower to an unofficial 490 horses.
A total of 15 of these Porsches were sent to the United States, with only two going to Canada, and another “ghost” chassis remaining in Germany. The price? A cool $133,000 dollar MSRP, good enough to make this Package Car one of the most expensive Porsches ever (at the time).
So yeah, this is a pretty stunning duo.
While photographing women and cars together has been the subject of negative rumors about “objectifying women” a lot lately, I simply believe there’s nothing wrong with appreciating beauty. What do you think?
