1983 Porsche 911 Ads Show Us Exactly Why We Love These Cars

The Porsche 911 is an absolutely magnificent and superb vehicles. We know that, and we’ve known it for some time. They are absolutely amazing, and never fail to impress. This rings true on and off the track, as I’m sure we’d all agree. From its classy design to its performance capabilities and everything in between, we love these rides. And we’ve loved them for quite awhile. After all, they’ve always been wonderful!

Today we get to take a look at a video that contains not one, but three, classic commercials from Porsche. Specifically, these commercials are from 1983 and feature the Porsche 911. The first mentions how the company regularly has meetings to “discuss alterations and refinements.” The ad ends with the narrator saying that they “try to keep the meetings short,” and we all know what they mean!

The next ad shows some outstanding motor-sport performances by none other than Porsche vehicles, then proceeds to tell us that, “at Porsche, we don’t let you by a car unless we’ve test driven it first.” Lastly, we see an ad featuring several models from that year that brings up the classic Porsche slogan — that “nothing even comes close.”
